The COMTool is an easy to use serial communication terminal program that transmits and receives bytes to practically any device connected to a PC's COM port.
Some of the COMTool features include:
- Transmits and receives data in either HEX or ASCII format.
- Pre-configured and user selectable COM port settings. Selectable COM port settings include baud rate, parity, data bits, stop bit, and hand shaking mode.
- Automatic calculation of checksum using 2's Complement, XOR'd, and Modbus CRC16 formats.
